Fall Fair School Fundraiser ~ Free Printables
Hi friends!
I feel a little silly about how much I loved this event. I love having little ones who are now in elementary school, I love using my experience to help coordinate special events and I love volunteering for a good cause. For me there is nothing better than helping to make my kids experience at school the best that it can be. Joining our Parent Advisory Council was a must for me and I jumped right in with both feet to help plan this Fall Fair for our school.
I signed up to take care of decorations, flyers, preorder forms and signage.
We ran the event from 6-8pm with over 15 activity booths for the kids to participate in.
We also sold tickets to a family style BBQ before the event where parent volunteers handed out hot dogs, burgers and drinks. Ways that we raised funds included: raffle ticket sales, BBQ sales, concession sales and sales from tickets for the activity booths.
We also had a ton of door prizes including this lovely gift basket {donated by yours truly}.
Raffle prizes included a family night out as well as 30lb boxes of apples with pie making kits.
One of our moms hollowed out a pumpkin, flattened the bottom and cut a golf ball sized hole in it. This became “pumpkin golf” and when kids won they could pick a sucker from the pumpkin.
Hockey shots is always a hit ~ especially with the older kids!
Another mom and I trekked out to the pumpkin patch to gather over 90 pumpkins for this activity! We used these free printables from Design Dazzle to decorate our pumpkins ~ we had the children cut features out of coloured paper and stick them to the pumpkin with tooth picks. It was brilliant and not too messy!!
One of our moms kindly donated her services as a photographer for our photo booth.
I added some fun giant pumpkin paintings to our decor.
Fabric stuffed pumpkins, colourful flowers and a fun pumpkin welcome sign {as well as fabric bunting that I have no picture for} were great touches that completed our Fall Fair theme.
