Keeping It Real ~ the Pumpkin Patch

Fall is finally here in the Okanagan.
After weeks of lovely, warm, sunny weather the leaves have started to change colour, the rain has started to fall and families are headed to the pumpkin patch.

We have a tradition of visiting Davison Orchard in Vernon every year.  It is an amazing local farm that has a wide variety of activities for the kids.  They have a great cafe with delicious, fresh food too.

The boys paused for a moment in the corn maze.

And played on the spiderweb.

Davison has a bunch of different spots for “photo ops”.

The duck races are always a hit!

So are the farm animals.

I love it here.  We went during the week and the tractor ride to the pumpkin patch wasn’t running.  We may just have to go back this weekend for the full experience.

Here we are in 2011.
In 2010.

In 2009 when this blog was all about paper crafts and parties.
And fall 2008 (when Darc was on crutches).

That was fun!
