Scrap Fabric Cuff ~ a tutorial

I have been trying to find fun ways to use up some of my scrap material.  Here’s one for the boys ~ Scrap Fabric Cuffs.  Super easy to make and a hit with my accessory loving guys!  You can make one too…
Grab a strip of fabric twice as long as your wrist then add two inches.  Our cuffs were 1 1/2 inches wide.  Iron on some interfacing to the back of your fabric scrap.  This will make the cuff more sturdy.
Fold the fabric in half lengthwise, right sides facing.  Sew the sides together.
Invert the tube of fabric and iron flat {tuck in the unfinished edges and iron}.
Top stitch around the entire cuff.
Fasten a snap closure onto each end of the cuff {I just followed the directions on the package}.
Now you have a finished cuff with all sorts of boyish possibilities.
Here our cuff is paired with coordinating shorts.

These are my Swallowtail Shorts that will soon kick off One for the Boys ~ Shorts Week.
Stay tuned!!
