Potatoe Bacon Soup

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Time for crockpots. And casseroles. And chili. And… soup. Yum!

Anything with potatoes is delish and this is no exception!

I chopped up onions, celery, carrots…

and potatoes.

I added crumbled bacon {turkey bacon in this case} and salt and pepper to taste.

Sigh. Wish we still had some of this in the fridge. Must. Make. More.

p.s. Am I the only one with two year olds that seem to live off of thin air? Seriously. Eat something.

mmmmmmmm…that looks SO ymummy! And it’s chilly and drizzly here outside- so it would just be perfect!

Your soup looks sooooo good!!! I will be making some for my family. I think it’s the age. I have a 3 year old and she doesn’t eat much at all. That’s the same with my nephew too. But then her sister(6) and brother (7) eat like horses!!! I can never have enough food for them!! Enjoy before they eat you out of house and home!!!

I know this is an older post but I just had to say that also have a two year old that lives on air alone! Seriously! Nice to know I’m not the only one who thinks it’s strange. I love your monster tutorial by the way, that’s how I linked to your blog (from sew mama sew). I intend to make some for the previously mentioned two year old for Christmas : )
