Chocolate Hot Rods

Hi everyone!
Now remember the boys’ Birthday is coming up and our theme is Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
Check out these Hot Rods…
I have seen so many cute pretzel stick treats and candy molds but have never been able to find the pretels sticks.  Have you seen them anywhere?  Michaels has started to carry them but most of the bags were pretty busted up.  So I bought the one with the least amount of broken pretzels. LOL

I used white candy melts.

And added food colouring.

Then I began by adding chocolate details to the mold with a toothpick.

Here are the blue and green details.

And on the reverse side.  I often flip the mold back and forth to see how I’m doing while spreading the chocolate.

Then I added the opposite chocolate colour for the car body.   Blue and green to go with our colour scheme.  Hey, that ryhms!
Finally I laid the pretzels down into the mold.

And covered them with white chocolate.

Our finished Hot Rod.
Stay tuned for more party goodies!
Thanks for reading.
