Classic Cinnamon Rolls

We are huge fans of Cinnamon Rolls at our house.  They are so much better when made fresh at home!  Here’s our classic take on them…
I start by making classic white bread dough in my bread maker.  Then I spread the dough out into a rectangle about the size of a cookie sheet.
Next I layer it with; 1/8 cup of butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2 tsp of cinnamon and a sprinkle of raisins {optional}.
Then I roll it into a big log and cut off sections about 1 – 1 1/2 inches apart.
I then place them in a greased baking dish and allow the dough to rest and rise for an hour.
Here they are all puffed up.  I bake them in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.
After drizzling with a little icing sugar they are ready to be devoured by just about everyone in the house!
Mmmmm warm, melty cinnamon rolls fresh out of the oven.  Is there anything better?
Nom, nom, nom.
