DIY Teacher Appreciation Mug

DIY Teacher Appreciation Mug

The boys had their last day of preschool a few weeks ago.
I was much more emotional than I would have expected.
Suddenly it hit me.
I will never be a preschool mom ever again!
And their teacher….
beyond awesome!
She was my calm in the proverbial “raising twin toddlers” storm.
Sigh.  I am going to miss her… maybe even more than the boys do.

So we made her this Teacher Appreciation Mug and I am just now posting it.
Better late than never right?

We used a glass paint marker from DecoArt to trace both Cameron and Isaiah’s hand onto the mug.
I wrote a lovely quote on the mug as well.

The boys both drew their initial in the hand prints too.  Then I baked the mug to set the marker.
Cute right?

This would be a great mom or grandma gift.  I put a GC in the mug and wrapped it with one of my boho bags.
An end to an era.  Onward and upward.  Kindergarten is going to be awesome!  Secretly though, I wish they could be in preschool forever.
