Glow-in-the-dark Creeper T-shirt

Please tell me that I am not the only one with a brother who is impossible to buy for?
Welcome to
One For The Boys ~ Holiday Edition
where we are sharing fab boy projects all month long!

My little brother, who is bigger and taller than I am, is tough to shop for.
He usually asks for the latest video game or video game system or money.
That’s it.
So when we decided to try a hand-made Christmas this year I was thinking, how many cans of jam can I give him?  Seriously!
But I had an Ah Ha moment and came up with this Creeper T-shirt that I know he is going to love.
A creeper is a character from a popular video game called Mine Craft…. I think.
Anyway here is what you need to do to create your own Creeper T-shirt…
Pick up some freezer paper {I found mine at IGA}, green fabric paint, glow-in-the-dark fabric paint, a paint brush and a t-shirt {this one was on sale at Michaels for $3.50 ~ Yeah!}.

Cut the creeper image out of freezer paper {I used a ruler to get nice straight lines} then iron it on to your t-shirt.  Put some scrap paper inside the t-shirt so that the paint doesn’t soak into the back.  Paint the green fabric paint into the sections that you have cut out on the shirt.  Try to brush the paint away from the edge of the image so that you are not pushing paint under the stencil.

Peel the freezer paper off and apply the glow-in-the-dark paint to the green sections.  I used puffy fabric paint then spread it around with a brush.

I think that he is going to loooooove it!
Although he will probably grunt “thanks” at Christmas and my only true testament to his love
will be seeing him wear it every. single. day.

So create a video game, tv character, superhero t-shirt for your hard to buy for boy.
They are sure to love it.
{Even if they don’t say so}.
