Keto breakfast favorites:
Loaded scrambled eggs with mushrooms, green pepper and ham.
These Loaded Deviled Eggs make an amazing addition to breakfast!
Chocolate Mousse Crepes with egg thins from Costco.
Add farmers sausage (from Costco) to an omelette for a protein packed breakfast! I also purchase egg white cartons from Costco for a lower fat option to whole eggs.
Eggs benedict without the english muffin – still delish! Serve them on cloud bread if you need the extra texture.
Scrambled eggs, sausage and cauliflower hashbrowns. Simply dice up cauliflower stalks and fry with a bit of seasoning salt – yum!
Ham and cheese scramble – packed with protein!
Seperate your eggs, add parmesan cheese to the whites, whip and fry with the yolks to create cloud eggs. This is a delicious variation to traditional fried eggs!
Tips for keto cooking:
- Find low carb substitutions for your current favorite recipes. Like cauliflower instead of perogies and radishes instead of potatoes.
- Maintain a healthy balance of protein and fats. Sometimes its hard to get enough fat and/or protein in a ketogenic diet so be sure to include a balance of both in your dishes.
