Kid Car Caddy and Reality TV

So I am a huge fan of Reality TV {don’t judge}.  And I think that I have watched every season of Survivor {in fact I know that I have}.  I can’t get enough of Big Brother, the Amazing Race or Hell’s Kitchen {love}.  I’m an addict.
Being a participant on So You Think You’re Crafty gave me a little taste of what it might feel like to be a part of Reality TV.
The competitions ~ lucky for me I didn’t have to eat slop.
The tight deadlines ~ would I make it to the next pit stop in time?
The nail biting suspense of The Poll ~ where the tribe has spoken…
and I have been sent home.
And while I didn’t win fifty thousand dollars or a new car, I have met some truly amazing crafters and made some new friends along the way.  Which to me is better than a fancy new car…. who needs a fancy new car anyway?!?
So thanks for following along ~ it’s been a blast!
Now on to the goods:

When I saw the theme for this week I knew exactly what I was going to make.  And I made these Kid Car Caddies weeks in advance because I NEEDED them ~ truly I am a huge fan of projects that are useful and let me tell you… had I paid money for them they would have paid for themselves ten times over.
Really the first week of back-to-school with the little miss was organized chaos.  We had too big shoes, which led to blisters, which led to needing bandaids with two bored toddlers which led to requests for snacks, drinks and everything else under the sun.  Seriously!  Whew.  These puppies have come in handy, let me tell you!
The kids still don’t know that they are glow-in-the-dark.  I’m waiting for day light savings time {you know, when you get off work and it looks like it’s midnight?} for them to find out.

Anyway thank so much for following along you guys!
Let me know if you’re interested in a tutorial and I’ll whip one up.

xo
