Pizza Pinwheels

Oh My Gosh! These were so yummy that after the first batch was literally inhaled by the boys, I had to make a special trip to the grocery store just for more ingredients! Here are the deets:

I made dough using my Bread Maker classic white recipe. You could use any dough though, store bought or traditionally made.

I spread my dough out into a rectangular shape (about the size of a cookie sheet). I made two of these and used one can of tomato paste, approx. 3c of Mozza Cheese and a pkg. of Pizza Pepperoni (approx. 40 slices).

I covered the dough with tomato paste, mozza cheese and pepperoni.

I then rolled all of my ingredients together, cinnamon bun style.

I cut the roll into 1″ rounds and placed on my cookie sheet. One blob of dough from the Bread Maker made 28 pinwheels.

I put them in the oven at 325 for 15-20 minutes. Don’t these look delish?

These were such a hit in my house! I can’t wait to serve them at our

Mad Hatter Tea Party! Thanks to Amy at Stem Parties for the inspiration!

Now I’m off to read my stove’s owner’s manual… whilst baking it began beeping and flashing F1… dear Stainless Steel Frigidaire… may I call you Stanley?… how am I to live without you?????
