Hey everyone!
I’m having fun packing school lunches this year and want to share some of the lunch ideas we have used so far. I would love to have a bento box for little miss’s lunches but until I find the right one this will have to do…
The best way to make mornings and lunch packing go smoothly is to plan ahead. I like to have a bunch of baking, like here, frozen and individually wrapped. What I have also started doing is planning our meals so that we have leftovers that can easily be taken for lunch as well.
We made Quesadillas the other night {you can find the recipe here}.
I love that they are full of healthy ingredients!
We have a quesadilla maker but you could use a skillet.
Our quesadilla maker imprints fun little shapes on each wedge. I had the little miss pick out her favorite shapes for lunch the next day.
In her lunch kit: two quesadilla wedges, sour cream, 3 plums, 1 sliced apple, banana chocolate chip muffin and yogurt pretzels.
Stay tuned for more lunch ideas.
