Upcycled Pocket Tank ~ What We Wore Wednesday

Hi everyone!
Welcome to What We Wore Wednesday.

Upcycled Pocket Tank ~ What We Wore Wednesday

Do it yourself boy fashion can be really rewarding.
It feels great to create something from nothing that my boys truly love.
That was the case with last weeks Boba Fett T-shirt.
Isaiah absolutely loves it!

This upcycled pocket tank look is one that I love.
Perfect for our hot September weather, it can be layered with a
long sleeve shirt or hoodie as the mornings get cooler.

Both the t-shirt from last week and the one used to make this tank top were found at a local discount store. They had a clear out sale and my mom picked up about 20 blank t-shirts for me for $0.25 each!  We were a little giddy to say the least ~ love a good sale.  Having worked at a children’s clothing store in the past I have built up a healthy dose of resistance to impulse buying.  I visit my favorite children’s clothing stores often and head straight for the discount racks.  If there is something that I love I often buy it a few sizes too big or a few seasons in advance to get the most bang for my buck.  Not finding something to love?  Resist the temptation to look at the latest arrivals and walk out.

Thanks for stopping by.
Be sure to visit next week for more little boy fashion tips.

Love it! Heather, your kids are the CUTEST!! I do also love how you do a great job of posting “boy” projects on your blog all the time. There’s definitely not enough crafty projects out there for the little Mr.’s!
